Located in the southern portion of the state, Kennett is home to a humid subtropical climate zone. Winters are cool, and average high temperatures in January will reach about 45 degrees. Snowfall is also minimal here with less than a foot of accumulation each year. However, safeguards are still needed to stay warm when cold fronts push into the area, and a reliable heat pump or furnace will keep home temperatures comfortable.
